With these hugely detailed pieces, I wanted to record the stage once I had completed all the line work. Many customers who watch me create in my studio say it would be great to have a print of just line work. This is the second print edition that I have done of the line work. Based on Teignmouth's iconic Back Beach, this painting was inspired by a summer spent watching the world go by on this busy little river beach! Where working harbour meets relaxed holiday makers, dog walkers and sea swimmers, there is a place for everyone here. So many of us have memories attached to this little spot, and having listened to those over the years many of the narratives and characters are inspired by those stories and painted how they have been imagined in my own mind.
