Forming part of a new series for 2023, 'The Sketch Book Series'. A slightly looser, more fluid style that I have initially captured while at each particular place.

Beach days are the best days I always think!
I chose to paint this picturesque stretch of beach, which forms part of the Jurassic Coast, as it remains a favourite spot of mine in East Devon. The unique red Devonian sandstone cliffs rise elegantly from the pretty beach which is loved by locals and holiday makers alike. The colourful beach huts cheerfully line the edge of the beach which is filled with people having a lovely day.
It’s a great place to swim and I particularly loved painting the paddleboarder and swimmers in the sea. Can you spot the cheeky cat hiding in a boat, and Sophie and Goose dipping their toes into the sea.
