'Before the Light Fades' is based on Teignmouth's back beach, just as the sun is setting. Swimmers have one more dip before the warmth of the day cools, a Seine boat makes the most of the last of the light and people pottering up the estuary on a rib enjoy a sundowner. Everyone is relishing the golden light and is living in the moment. A calm and peaceful scene painted to evoke the feeling of making the most of a wonderful day in Devon.
